This Privacy Policy explains how VIPInmates.com ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our service to communicate with an incarcerated individual. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

If you text an Inmate's line and are not already a saved contact, we will ask for your consent before continuing. You can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving promotional/marketing text messages from that line, or HELP for assistance. You can also ask us to block a number entirely.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as necessary to operate the Service:
We retain your account, message, and photo history for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping and legal purposes. You can request deletion of your data as described in Section 7 below.
We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and access-restricted systems — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We use only what is technically necessary to operate the site (such as keeping you logged into staff tools). We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics tracking cookies.
Our servers and service providers are located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
